This Purchase, Cancellation, Substitution and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and registrations made for any Story ARC™ program, event, workshop, bootcamp, live class, masterclass, training, digital session, or related offering (collectively, the “Programs”) offered by Story ARC™ (“we”, “us”, “our”, or the “Organiser”).
By purchasing, registering for, or attending any Story ARC™ Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
1. General Purchase Terms
1.1 All registrations are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon successful receipt of payment.
1.2 Full payment must be made at the time of registration unless otherwise expressly stated by the Organiser in writing.
1.3 The Organiser reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or cancel any registration at its sole discretion, including where:
- payment is incomplete, declined, reversed, or disputed;
- inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information has been provided;
- the participant fails to comply with the Program requirements, house rules, or this Policy; or
- the Organiser reasonably considers that attendance or participation may disrupt the Program or affect other participants.
1.4 All prices displayed are in the stated currency and are subject to any applicable taxes, platform charges, or payment processing fees unless otherwise stated.
2. Strict No-Refund Policy
2.1 All payments made for Story ARC™ Programs are strictly non-refundable. This includes, without limitation:
- workshops;
- bootcamps;
- live classes;
- training sessions;
- masterclasses;
- online or offline events;
- deposits;
- booking fees;
- bundled purchases; and
- promotional or discounted purchases.
2.2 No refunds, whether full or partial, will be provided for:
- change of mind;
- inability to attend;
- scheduling conflicts;
- personal circumstances;
- late arrival;
- no-show;
- failure to participate fully;
- dissatisfaction arising from personal expectations, preferences, or subjective outcomes; or
- unused portions of any Program.
2.3 Refunds, if any, will be granted only at the sole and absolute discretion of the Organiser and must be expressly confirmed in writing by the Organiser.
2.4 No verbal statements, informal messages, prior conversations, assumptions, or representations shall be binding unless expressly confirmed in writing by the Organiser.
2.5 Where an exceptional refund is approved in writing, the Organiser reserves the right to deduct any applicable:
- administrative fees;
- payment gateway charges;
- third-party platform fees;
- transaction fees; and
- non-recoverable costs already incurred in relation to the booking.
3. Participant Substitution
3.1 If a registered participant is unable to attend, they may nominate one replacement participant at no additional charge, provided that written notice is given to the Organiser before the start of the relevant Program.
3.2 Substitution requests must include:
- the original participant’s full name;
- the replacement participant’s full name;
- contact number;
- email address; and
- any other information reasonably requested by the Organiser.
3.3 A substitution is only effective when the Organiser confirms acceptance of the replacement in writing.
3.4 The replacement participant must comply with all Program requirements, eligibility conditions, and applicable terms and policies.
3.5 The Organiser reserves the right to reject any proposed replacement participant if:
the request is incomplete;
- the request is made too close to the Program start time to be reasonably processed;
- the replacement participant does not meet the relevant requirements; or
- the substitution would cause operational, safety, legal, or administrative issues.
3.6 Once a substitution has been accepted, the replacement participant shall be deemed the registered participant for all purposes, and the original participant shall have no further right of attendance in respect of that registration.
4. No Cancellation by Participant
4.1 Once a booking is made and payment is received, the registration is final.
4.2 Participants may not cancel their booking in exchange for a refund, credit, postponement, or rollover, except where the Organiser expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
4.3 Inability to attend does not cancel the booking and does not relieve the participant of any payment obligation.
5. Transfers, Deferrals and Credits
5.1 Registrations are not transferable to another date, batch, intake, or Program unless the Organiser expressly agrees in writing.
5.2 The Organiser may, at its sole discretion, allow a transfer, deferral, or credit in exceptional cases, but is under no obligation to do so.
5.3 Any transfer, deferral, or credit granted:
- is personal to the participant unless otherwise stated;
- may be subject to conditions, deadlines, or administrative fees; and
- will lapse if not used within the period stated by the Organiser.
6. Program Changes, Postponement or Cancellation by the Organiser
6.1 The Organiser reserves the right, at any time and without liability beyond the remedies stated in this Clause, to:
- reschedule a Program;
- change the venue;
- change the delivery format (including from in-person to online, or vice versa where reasonably necessary);
- adjust the agenda, duration, content, sequence, or materials;
- replace speakers, trainers, facilitators, or instructors; or
- cancel a Program.
6.2 Such changes may be made for reasons including, without limitation:
- operational needs;
- minimum enrolment not being met;
- trainer or speaker unavailability;
- venue issues;
- health and safety concerns;
- technical issues;
- force majeure; or
- any other circumstance beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control.
6.3 If the Organiser cancels a Program entirely and does not provide a replacement date or reasonably comparable alternative, the Organiser may, at its sole discretion, provide either:
- a replacement seat in a future Program;
- a credit for a future Story ARC™ offering; or
- a refund.
6.4 Where the Organiser reschedules a Program or makes a non-material change, the participant’s registration shall remain valid for the revised Program, and no refund shall be due.
7. Late Arrivals and No-Shows
7.1 Participants are responsible for arriving on time and ensuring they are ready to attend the Program as scheduled.
7.2 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to late arrivals where admission would disrupt the Program, affect the participant experience, or create operational difficulties.
7.3 Late arrivals, missed attendance, early departure, or no-shows will not entitle the participant to any refund, replacement, rescheduling, or credit.
8. Online Access and Technical Requirements
8.1 For any online or hybrid Program, participants are responsible for ensuring they have:
- a stable internet connection;
- a suitable device;
- functioning audio/video capability where relevant; and
- access to the relevant online platform.
8.2 Technical issues on the participant’s side, including connection failure, device problems, login errors caused by participant error, or platform incompatibility, shall not be grounds for refund, rescheduling, or credit.
8.3 Access links, login credentials, materials, recordings, and participation rights are personal to the registered participant and must not be shared, transferred, reproduced, or redistributed unless expressly authorised in writing.
9. Conduct and Right to Remove
9.1 Participants must conduct themselves respectfully and professionally at all times.
9.2 The Organiser reserves the right to deny access, remove, or suspend any participant without refund if the participant:
- behaves in a disruptive, abusive, inappropriate, unlawful, or threatening manner;
- harasses the Organiser, speakers, staff, or other participants;
- records, copies, or distributes protected content without permission;
- breaches this Policy or any other stated Program terms; or
- acts in a manner that the Organiser reasonably believes may harm the Program, venue, platform, or participants.
10. Intellectual Property and Materials
10.1 All Program content, materials, worksheets, frameworks, slides, recordings, exercises, and related materials remain the intellectual property of Story ARC™ and/or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
10.2 Purchase of a Program grants the participant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Program for personal use only.
10.3 Participants may not reproduce, distribute, record, republish, upload, sell, share, adapt, or commercially exploit any Program content without prior written consent from the Organiser.
11. Promotional Rates, Bundles and Special Offers
11.1 Any discounted, promotional, bundled, early-bird, limited-time, or bonus-inclusive purchase is subject to this Policy unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
11.2 Complimentary items, bonuses, add-ons, templates, or extra access provided as
- part of a promotion:
- have no cash value;
- are non-exchangeable; and
- do not create any entitlement to refund or price adjustment.
12. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
12.1 If a participant has any issue relating to their purchase, they must contact the Organiser first using the contact details provided below.
12.2 Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with the Organiser may result in:
- suspension of access to the Program;
- cancellation of the registration;
- refusal of future bookings; and/or
- the Organiser providing this Policy and related records to the relevant payment provider in response to the dispute.
12.3 Where a chargeback or payment reversal is found to be improper, the Organiser reserves the right to recover the outstanding amount together with any associated costs reasonably incurred.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 The Organiser shall not be liable for any delay, change, interruption, or failure to perform arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- natural disasters;
- fire;
- flood;
- epidemic or pandemic;
- government restrictions;
- venue closures;
- transport disruption;
- labour disputes;
- power outages;
- internet or platform failures; or
- acts or omissions of third parties.
13.2 In such circumstances, the Organiser may, at its sole discretion, reschedule the Program, provide an alternative format, issue a credit, or take such other action as it considers appropriate.
14. Limitation and Reservation of Rights
14.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or economic loss arising out of or in connection with any Program or purchase.
14.2 Nothing in this Policy excludes any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
14.3 The Organiser reserves the right to amend, update, or replace this Policy at any time. The version in force at the time of purchase shall apply to that purchase unless otherwise stated.
15. Contact and Written Notice
15.1 All notices, requests, substitution requests, and any matters relating to refunds, attendance, or registration must be submitted in writing to:

15.2 For the avoidance of doubt, only written confirmation issued by the Organiser shall be valid and binding in relation to any exception, variation, approval, or waiver under this Policy.
16. Acceptance of Policy
By proceeding with payment, registering for, or attending any Story ARC™ Program, you confirm that you:

- understand that all payments are strictly non-refundable unless the Organiser agrees
- otherwise in writing; and
